What to know before you enroll:
We are so excited your child will be joining us for the school year!
Our intention is to provide transparent and accessible information to create a smooth registration process and student experience, and ask families to review WOS’s expectations, policies, and procedures. Please reach out if you have questions or concerns.

Rolling Enrollment: As space allows, families can enroll throughout the school year for the remainder of classes.
2026/2027 School Year Session: In order to balance consistency for students and the financial imperatives of operating our program, WOS has moved to a School Year registration model.
School Year Commitment: When families enroll for the school year, it provides financial stability; and the consistent attendance of students enables WOS to run safe classes that provide balance and consistency for our students and teaching staff. We ask that families think carefully about their willingness to make a year-long commitment
Minimum Enrollment: Classes will begin when minimum enrollment has been met. If class begins after the advertised start date, tuition costs will be prorated.

2025/2026 School Year Session:
September 8th-June 11th
Registration is rolling as space allows.

Washington Outdoor School utilizes a registration platform called Sawyer where registration and payment are done in one place.
If your child has not attended a recent camp or class, Sawyer will require you to create a new account.

WOS is transparent about our tuition costs. Your tuition ensures we can pay our teachers a living wage and create a safe, dynamic, and child centered environment with a low student to staff ratio.
Tuition amounts are based on a yearly cost.
Prorated Tuition: Families are able to register throughout the School Year, and tuition is prorated based on enrollment date. Yearly tuition is prorated if a class begins after the advertised start date.
Registration/Supply Fee: Charged annually per student.
Tuition Frequency: Tuition may be paid in full at registration or monthly.
Tuition Discount: To support families, WOS offers a tuition discount for families paying the full tuition cost up front.
Deposit: Deposits are non-refundable unless class is canceled by WOS.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Withdraw: Tuition is Non-Refundable
Cancellation by WOS:
Full Tuition Payment: Full refund prior to the start of class. Prorated when class has begun.
Monthly Payment: Refund if monthly tuition payment has been processed for the month class is canceled.

WOS utilizes a student management program called Brightwheel to manage student profiles and communicate with families.
Parents are able to update their child's profile including adding and editing Student Contacts.
If your child does not have an existing Brightwheel account with WOS, an invitation will be sent prior to your child's first day.
