Summer Camp FAQs

  • Washington Outdoor School utilizes Sawyer, a registration platform. Registration and payment are done in one place

    If this is your child’s first camp or if they attended prior to the 2024 Camp Session, Saywer will require you to create a new account.

  • Register by April 1st

    School Age

    • 2 Weekly Camps: $13 discount on order total.

    • 3-5 Weekly Camps: $26 discount on order total.

    • Full Camp Session: Additional $26 discount to already reduced amount.

    Preschool

    • Full Camp Session: Additional $13 discount to already reduced amount.

  • Register for all weeks of the School Age or Preschool Camp sessions for a package discount.

  • Until May 31st: Families have the option of paying tuition in full at the time of registration or to pay a deposit of 20% of the total tuition amount with full payment starting June 1st. This applies to School Age Weekly Camps and School Age and Preschool Full Camp Session tuition.

    Beginning June 1st: Full tuition cost is due at time of registration.

  • Refund requests must be received by May 27th. No refunds will be offered after this date.

    Deposit paid at check-out: Deposits are non-refundable.

    Full Payment paid at check-out: Amount paid less 20% of tuition total (deposit equivalent) and Administrative Costs and Fees noted on receipt.

  • These fees help offset processing charges.

    Booking Fee

    • A $5 Booking Fee is applied once to each order.

    Surcharge

    • A 2% surcharge is applied to each installment of a payment plan.

  • A camper is considered a Resident if their family resides in Kittitas County full-time.

    Families will be asked to confirm residency at check-out.

  • Apply for scholarship prior to enrolling in camps. Scholarship discounts are unable to be applied after payment for tuition balance is processed.

    HopeSource Activity Scholarship

    HopeSource will inform WOS of scholarship amount and WOS will provide you with a discount code for the scholarship amount.

  • WOS will continue to use Brightwheel during camp weeks to check campers in and out, communicate, and share photos.

    If your child does not have an existing Brightwheel account with WOS, an invitation will be sent prior to your child’s first week of camp.
